Chateau Riotor

Chateau Riotor

At the foot of the Massif des Maures, in the village of Cannet-des-Maures, there is the large estate of Chateau Riotor among its vineyards, pine woods and Mediterranean bush. The winery historically belongs to Abeille family, represented today by the fourth generation of the brothers Jean and Henri, skilled and experienced winemakers.

After a profound renewal that involved the company, the equipment of the most modern production machinery and the introduction of temperature control systems, the winery has been acquired by the nearby Chateau du Mont Redon, who still owns the property.

The land extends around the winery for 85 hectares, 48 of which are vineyards. Among the main varieties, rooted here on a red soil, rich in humus, heated by a hot sun and constant, we find Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, but also the Rolle and Clairette. It is traditionally linked to Provence grapes, cultivated for centuries, from which wines are intense and pleasant aromas, fresh and very refined.

Between ancient buildings and stone walls a modern winery arises equipped with the latest machinery, able to ensure the best quality while respecting the great wine tradition of Provence. This gives rise to some of the best French rosé wines, which are rich and elegant, characterized by a particular and pleasant complexity. Originated from a rich and perfumed with pine trees and Mediterranean breezes, the wines of Chateau Riotor communicate the magic of an extraordinary, rich in tradition and culture, the cradle of essential flavors.
