The vineyards face south and are trained according to the traditional \"atypical ray\" method, which protects the clusters from the strong daily solar radiation. The soils are composed of dolomitic-calcareous rocks that give the wine a typical freshness, also given by the microclimate of the area. The winemaking process begins with the arrival of the grapes at the winery, harvested manually from the vineyard. The crushing and destemming is gentle and the must obtained is fermented with subsequent maceration on the skins, pumping over and punching down which lasts about 12 days. The resulting wine is then aged for \u003cstrong\u003e6 months in second-passage barriques\u003c\/strong\u003e and bottled.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe red wine \"Furore\" from the Marisa Cuomo winery shows a bright ruby red color to the eye. The nose has fruity notes of cherry and blackberry and a pleasant background of spicy notes and Mediterranean scrub.
