Marisa Cuomo's wines have been among the elite of Italy's best labels for years. The Piedirosso and Aglianico grapes come from plots located in the beautiful landscape scenery of the Amalfi Coast, particularly \u003cstrong\u003ein the areas of Cetara, and in the Raito locality in Vietri sul Mare\u003c\/strong\u003e. The vineyards are cultivated on steep terraces supported by dry stone walls, at an altitude between 100 and 250 meters above sea level with sunny south-facing exposure. The warm, breezy Mediterranean climate and stony soils rich in limestone rocks have always provided an ideal habitat for vines. Harvesting is done manually in the second half of October, and the grapes are gently pressed with brief skin contact. The free-run juice is vinified in white with fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The palate has good structure, with rich fruit and a subtle tannic trail.
