Riesling 'Berg' Niedrist 2020

The Riesling by Niedrist is a balanced and juicy wine, with the incredible freshness. Manufactured by Ignaz Niedrist, this wine is truly excellence in the panorama of Italian white wines. The merit of this Riesling and a whole range of high quality labels, is due to Ignaz, a master at his craft, able to give his wines a unique character, always cognizable to the palate. After working as a winemaker at the nearby winery Colterenzio, Ignaz decided to go it alone in 1990, and since then has only refined the outset uncommon ability as a producer of quality wines of outstanding value. Today, after years of wine production, Niedrist can safely be considered one of the most talented winemakers in the region and, without exaggeration, of the whole Italy. His bottles are in fact obtained as a result of a serious work in the vineyard and winery, and hit very often to clear the accuracy of the aromatic features. The vineyards are located in three different areas, in Cornaiano, Appian and Gries in Bolzano. Here soils are acidic and moraine, full of debris, quartzite, porphyry and granite, which are essential for the perfect ripening of the grapes, able to donate a minerality and freshness unmatched.
