Bolgheri Rosato 'Scalabrone' Guado al Tasso - Antinori 2014

The Bolgheri Rosé "Scalabrone" by Antinori is a fresh and tangy wine, pleasantly aromatic and fruity. Produced in the Tenuta Guado al Tasso, belongs to the Antinori family and located about 80 km south-west of Florence, the Bolgheri Rosé "Scalabrone" born on the green hills surrounding the old village of Bolgheri, reaching the sea in a beautiful flat that, for its particular shape, is called "Bolgheri amphitheater": the hills enclose the plains overlooking the sea, creating a sort of natural amphitheater. The Bolgheri Rosé gets its name from the vineyard that gives birth, the "Scalabrone", named in honor of bandit Scalabrone, a “Robin Hood” that attacking ships in the old canal port of Bolgheri, around early 1800. All this in addition to being produced by Antinori, which is not hard to say what an excellent representative of the Italian wine in the world, makes the Bolgheri Rosé "Scalabrone" a wine worthy of attention.
