The Special Reserve Rum Reimonenq 6 Years is a rare jewel of the Antilles that comes from the evergreen Guadalupe. It is a rum agricole taht is made from pure sugar cane, which grows directly in those flourishing lands, in the same plantation of no more than 50 acres that is owned by the small Reimonenq distillery. Founded in 1916 in a basin with Caribbean beach and landscape by a Danish family, the distillery boasts a unique and very fertile position, dominating alone the volcanic area of “Basse-Terre”. The small family's history and skills, from which that traditional spirit arises with the aged three and nine years rums, is shown in the adjacent museum, where there are ancient machineries.
