Spumante Metodo Classico Rosé Brut 'Cruasé' Berté Cordini

The Sparkling Brut "Cruasé" by Berté Cordini is a classic method from Oltrepò Pavese that we like and that impressed us during our tastings. Berté Cordini is the selection of flagship Cantine Francesco Montagna, while the name "Cruasé" was born from the union of two words: Cruà and Rosé. The first is to indicate the main vine and the wine was produced, around 1700, on Oltrepò Pavese, while the second refers to the technique of making wine, rosé from grapes of Pinot Noir vinified with classic method and aged for at least 18 months on the lees. The Sparkling Brut "Cruasé" by Berté Cordini are able to take the lead for the full redemption of the methods classics, especially pink, of Oltrepò Pavese; a land site in the southwestern part of Lombardy, which offers beautiful landscapes to our eyes: soft and gentle hills of clay and limestone, which seems to have been created especially to produce wine. On vines grown on trellises and Guyot at an altitude of 150-300 meters above sea level, is born the Sparkling Brut "Cruasé" by Berté Cordini: a Pinot Noir grapes that are vinified in purity in pink after a soft pressing and fermentation with selected yeasts takes place in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, where the "Cruasé" dream on the yeasts for at least 18 months prior to rest 3 months in bottle and balance. And this process that leads to a rich foam and persistent, but always soft and fine. The Sparkling Brut "Cruasé" by Berté Cordini gives us pleasant floral and fruity sensations that combine rose petals strawberry. A pure Pinot Noir, vinified in pink, which is soft, round, full, juicy and with a nice creaminess. A "Cruasé" that can rise to authentic standard-bearer of the classical methods rosé of the Oltrepò Pavese.
