"Terre Silvate" La Distesa is Corrado Dottori's delightful entry-level white, and we are not exaggerating when we call it a wine with a special value for money. Corrado Dottori is undoubtedly one of the most important and representative faces of artisanal wine, not only for his splendid and iridescent products, but also for the culture and seriousness that distinguish him. Always an advocate of a non-interventionist approach, Corrado is probably the greatest exponent of that great white grape that is Verdicchio, too often mortified by impersonal and static interpretations. The critical spirit is not lacking, however, and it is inherent in Corrado to eschew momentary fads at the expense of well-established local traditions, which make his bottles centered but at the same time endowed with enormous personality. We find ourselves before one of Italy's best bianchistas, so all that remains is to enjoy his creatures, starting with this carefree nectar.

The white "Terre Silvate" is the result of a blend consisting mainly of Verdicchio and a small part of Trebbiano. In the vineyard, no chemical or synthetic substances are used, with absolute respect for the vitality of the soil and the plant, while in the cellar spontaneous alcoholic fermentation takes place without any clarification or filtration. The wine matures for 6 months in cement tanks and is bottled only with a negligible dose of sulfur dioxide.

The "Terre Silvate" wine presents itself in the glass with bright and lively yellow garb. A lightly bucolic on the nose with hints of hay, wildflowers, lime and green apple in what is for all intents and purposes a forthright but sharply defined profile. The sip is dangerously smooth and dynamic, a perfect mix of pulp, acidity and saline streak. A great everyday bottle.
