The Single Malt Whisky "Madeira Wine Wood Finish" BenRiach 15 Years is a limited edition spirit, the pride of the Scottish BenRiach distillery and arrived on the podium of the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2008. Born in 2006 in the heart of Speyside, the Northeastern region that was made famous for its whisky production, it embodies the unique whisky masters' skills. In fact, what makes that whisky a must is its refinement: at first, it is placed in the traditional American bourbon casks and, then, it is placed in the Madeira casks, from which comes its name “Madeira Wine Wood Finish”. These casks are native of the semi-tropical Portuguese island of Madeira, in the Atlantic Ocean, and for centuries they have been sold along the most famous routes in the world.
