The Cantine del Notaio were created in 1998 by Gerardo Giuratrabocchetti, heir to a family of winemakers, who decided to promote the Aglianico del Vulture. The soil and volcanic tuff and the extraordinarily mild climate favors the maturation of the grapes in an exceptional way. The uniqueness of the area and the passion of Gerardo are found in "Il Sigillo", a wine that ages for 24 months in French oak barrels, stored in the ancient caves of tufa of the Franciscan friars.
