Aldo Vaira likes to call his Dolcetto d'Alba as "A wine that gives life. If people knew how good, digestible, humanizing, I would drink every day". Born from Dolcetto grapes, a variety that in the delicate landscape of Piedmont is rising to prominence thanks to its very drinkable, its typical fruity aroma and freshness thanks to a really important. Dolcetto d'Alba Vajra born four vineyards set Vergne and Ravera; vines that give this wine delicacy and very drinkable. An historic winery of the Langhe, Vajra has always believed in sustainable agriculture: natural grass cover, no irrigation and thinning decided depending on the vintage. A philosophy that gives wines that are the perfect expression of the terroir of origin; harvested in the first half of September, is left to ferment for 7-15 days depending on the vintage and bottled in the following spring, where it stays for at least six months. Dolcetto d'Alba by Vajra is absolutely true to its history: it is intense and fresh, is bright and offers notes of violet, red berries, cherries and of hay.
