The Muller Thurgau by Tiefenbrunner is a white wine that can satisfy the nose and the palate thanks to its extraordinary fruity and due to its pleasant aromas of wild herbs. From the beautiful hillside vineyards located in the resort of Penone, Corona and Aica di Sotto, between 600 and 900 meters above sea level, where the climate is mild due to the crown of the highest peaks in South Tyrol, comes this Muller Thurgau which surprised us during our last tasting. Origin, quality and character: this is the maximum of the cellar, located in the township of Niclara, an historic village inhabited in prehistoric times as evidenced by the findings in stone, bronze and iron were found behind the present Castel Turmhof. Here, the soil is typically gravelly, with lime and moraine sediments, clay and sand: a mix of different soils that provide the pleasant mineral notes. The Muller Thurgau by Tiefenbrunner matures on the lees for 4 months and shows a light yellow color mixed with green reflections. It's the typical South Tyrolean Muller: a wine that can satisfy the nose and the palate with its fruity aromas and flavors of wild herbs and nutmeg. The Muller Thurgau by Tiefenbrunner is a wine that knows his stuff, even in the mouth where it radiates character, elegance and balance.
