The Whisky Single Barrel "Brown" Special Reserve Blanton's was made famous by Albert Bacon Blanton, classse1881, one of the first families in the history of bourbon. In 1952, the total number of buildings of the company was increased up to hundred forty-four, becoming officially the distillery greatest of his era. It was in that period that Blanton created a special class and limited bourbon personally selected by hand and stored in what is now known as the famous Warehouse H. The true hallmark of this bourbon "Blanton" Single Barrel (matured into one barrel ) is still in this time-honored tradition. This means that it is aged in a barrel, and, unlike most of the other, is never mixed with any other bourbon.
