The Sauvignon "Lahn" San Michele Appiano is a very successful wine, with intense aromas and flavors, and distinguished by elegance that the winery has always been able to bring in its many labels. The company San Michele Appiano proves also a guarantee for this Sauvignon "Lahn", mainly due to the wide base wine, which allows accurate and appropriate choices in each vineyard; in fact, are 370 cooperative members who manage the 380 hectares of vineyards, all assisted by Hans Terzer, winemaker since 1978 in the winery, now director. Founded at the beginning of '900 the winery today is a perfect example of a cooperative high-quality wine, which brings up the name of all white wines that produces, always a perfect example of territoriality and freshness of flavor. The secret of the pleasure of this Sauvignon "Lahn" is to be found in the particularity of the production area, the hills of Monte Appian, few in quantitative yield, but good to emphasizing the fragrance, thanks to aromas and scents characteristic of this area of production. A good wine that confirms what good has made over the years this cooperative winery for South Tyrolean and national scene.
